GAO sees this article in the Daily Caller

both items detail GAO’s effort to formally ‘out’ to the public the Biden-Harris administration having buried an assessment of liquified natural gas exports which concluded they are a good and very beneficial thing. Whether and why in the world a bunch of activist political appointees would do something like that is fodder for the imagination.

Until, that is, one considers what followed, which was to declare a “pause” on exports of freedom molecules to non-free trade agreement countries… until the Biden DoE performed a study—which GAO was reliably informed had been performed in 2023, came up with the ‘wrong’ answer, and was buried.

The most reasonable conclusion is this crowd did something very reckless and ideological, with economic, national security and geopolitical implications, pretextually, and in service of that agenda then ordered up a report giving a different answer than the one that was produced and buried.

GAO’s senses say stay alert for more developments on this in the near-term.

It now appears the truth is going to move faster than the Potemkin study ordered by the politicals.
