GAO filed an open records lawsuit against Multnomah County, Oregon, seeking records illuminating its work with the Rockefeller Family Fund group Center for Climate Integrity. This suit produced records and a privilege log revealing a new twist in the latter group’s work: the plaintiffs law firm brought CCI into the relationship. Previously, CCI was shown to be a recruiter of governmental plaintiffs and ghost writer of materials.
