Jacob Roth is a third-year law student at the University of Virginia School of Law. As Government Accountability & Oversight’s Legal and Policy Research Assistant, Jacob researches and writes on statutory and case law for GAO litigation. Jacob is also guiding a scholarly investigative project examining corruption and third-party funding of law enforcement.
Prior to law school, Jacob studied Russian literature at Northwestern University under Professor Gary Saul Morson, specializing in the novels of Tolstoy and Dostoevsky. Jacob and his wife are shooting and board game enthusiasts with a penchant for bringing friends together around both activities. They are both far too willing to discuss why most people miss the point of Anna Karenina.
